Meike Hoffmann (born 1962) is a German art historian and provenance researcher. ==Life== Hoffmann studied art history, classical archeology, folklore and library science at the University of Kiel and at the Free University of Berlin. In 2005 she was promoted to a PhD for her dissertation on Die Brücke art movement. From 1990 to 1994 she was a research assistant at the Berlin gallery Theis and the Berlin Ceramics Museum. From 1992 to 1995 she taught Art History at the Goethe-Institut in Berlin. From 1995 to 1999 she was a research trainee and assistant at the Brücke Museum in Berlin, and from 1999 to 2006 she worked as a freelance art historian, writer and curator.
